Panas matahari, ular, kesulitan berjalan pasir, tidak ada air, tidak ada awan, halusinasi dan kematian. Ya, itu adalah bagaimana kebanyakan anggapan orang tentang gurun. Tetapi Maranhenses National Park bukan gurun seperti biasanya, memiliki pemansangan yang indah dan danau kecil dengan air jernih.
Hal ini hampir seperti semacam surga bagi pelancong gurun. Terletak di timur laut Brasil dan memiliki luas sekitar 1000 kilometer persegi. Yang lucu adalah gurun ini tidak mempunyai vegetasi meskipun memiliki air dan terkena hujan.
