Ini Dia Wanita Tertua di Dunia

, - Rabu, 10 April 2013 | 03.00 - Seorang nenek di Jepang baru saja dinobatkan sebagai wanita paling tua sedunia. Ia adalah Misao Okawa yang berusia 115 tahun. Gelar tersebut telah diperoleh genap 115 tahun pada 5 Maret yang lalu.

Saat ini ia tinggal di panti jompo di sebelah barat Osaka dan tak pernah menderita sakit serius selama hidupnya. “Saya sangat diberkahi dan itu rasanya menyenangkan,” ucap Misao.

Putri dari pedagang kimono ini dilahirkan pada 5 Maret 1898 dan menikah pada tahun 1919. Dari pernikahannya itu ia memiliki 3 anak, 4 cucu dan 6 cicit. Dua di antara anaknya yaitu seorang laki-laki dan seorang perempuan, masih hidup hingga kini berumur 90-an tahun.

Gelar wanita tertua di dunia ini diraih Misao setelah Dina Manfredini meninggal Januari lalu. Pada Desember tahun lalu Dina mendapat gelar tersebut di usia ke-115 tahun. Sedangkan sebelum Dina ada Besse Cooper yang meninggal dunia di usia 116 tahun 100 hari.

Sedangkan gelar Misao ini melengkapi prestasi Jepang dalam mencatatkan rekor warganya sebagai umur terpanjang di dunia. Pasalnya, gelar pria paling tua juga diraih Jiroemon Kimura. Kakek berusia 115 tahun saat mendapat gelar itu tinggal di kota Kyotango, dekat Kyoto.
